Interview Process

1. Intake Form

This form helps us ensure that we have all your information recorded accurately as well as establish direct contact.

2. Release Form for Video Interviewees

This form allows for us to use your image, if applicable.

3. First Interview

We can meet and greet at this interview if you have questions about who we are and our motivations. If you prefer, you can request for us to not shoot or record on the first interview. We can just talk and get to know each other. This can be done via zoom or in person.

4. Second Interview

Typically, something arises in the first interview that will be that anchor of your story. We’ll focus on expanding on that in the second interview. Typically we will record audio or shoot in the second interview. If you prefer to have only one interview, this can be achieved and there is no need for a second interview. This can be done via zoom, but ideally in person, specifically for audio or video interviews for picture quality.

5. Interviewee views edit or line by line

Before publication on KapwaPilipinas.org, we will check with you to get the facts right or let you view our edit (if applicable). We want to be sure you feel confident that we most accurately and truthfully represent your account.

6. Email Interviewee upon publication

Once we have published on KapwaPilipinas.org, we will notify you via email. Please let us know if you would prefer not to be mentioned on social media.
